Roles and Responsibilities

Role of Editors: Editors evaluate the suitability of submitted manuscripts for the journal, considering the quality of the manuscript, its alignment with the journal's aims and scope, and its originality.

Editors must keep submitted manuscripts confidential and only share information with the corresponding author, reviewers, or other members of the editorial board. Editors assess manuscripts based on their intellectual content, without regard to the authors' race, gender, country of origin, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.

Editors will ensure prompt handling of the review process.

Role of Reviewers: Reviewers should provide objective reviews with clearly formulated observations supported by arguments that authors can use to improve their paper. Reviewers should identify relevant publications not cited in the manuscript and highlight any similarities with previously published works.

Reviewers should avoid considering manuscripts where they have conflicts of interest due to competitive, financial, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors. If a reviewer feels unqualified to assess the research in a manuscript, they should notify the editors immediately and decline the review.

Role of the Publisher: Plagiarism is a serious ethical breach and must be avoided. In cases of detected or proven plagiarism, scientific misconduct, or fraudulent publication, the publisher, in collaboration with the editorial board, will take appropriate action, which may include publishing an erratum or retracting the work in question.
