About Department of Indian Knowledge and Languages
Department Overview:
The Department of Indian Knowledge and Languages is dedicated to fostering professionals with skills in languages, intercultural communication, and cultural understanding. It offers intensive language programs in Hindi, Sanskrit and Hindu Studies.

Objective: To promote the study and dissemination of Indian knowledge systems, classical and modern Indian languages, and their contributions to philosophy, literature, and cultural heritage.

Scope: Covers the study of languages like Sanskrit, Hindi, and regional languages, along with interdisciplinary studies in Indian philosophy, history, and culture.
Objectives of the Conference
The key objectives of this international conference are as follows:

To explore the philosophical essence of the Śrīmadbhagavad Gītā in relation to metaphysical, ethical, and spiritual dimensions of IKS.

To reinterpret the Gītā as a practical guide for individual and collective transformation within the framework of Indian cultural values.

To study the epistemological and pedagogical relevance of Gītā-based learning models in contemporary education systems.
